SENDONLINE.COM was founded in 2000 and incorporated in April 2001. The first version of its website launched in early 2001. During the same year, SENDONLINE.COM, Inc. purchased the domain name, SEND.COM, after the original SEND.COM closed its doors.

The current website, SEND.COM,  launched later that same year. Since then, the company has continued to expand its product line and network of partners.
